The special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on this day, know when you will get the admit card along with the complete schedule of the exam?

Special OTET will be held on Sunday, July 20.

The special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on this day.

The first sitting will be from 9 am to 11:30 am for Paper-1 and the second sitting will be from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

The Board of Secondary Education has informed that the admit cards will be provided online to the candidates.

Divyang students who cannot read or write can contact the Superintendent of their examination center before the examination day with the necessary documents. If necessary, they can contact the Superintendent. If necessary, the Superintendent can allow an assistant to write the examination for the said candidate.

It is worth noting that since teachers working at the primary school level, public teachers and teachers of other recognized private schools including grant-in-aid schools are not able to pass the OTET, the board is organizing a special OTET on the instructions of the School and Public Education Department.

Teachers are being given the opportunity to apply on the board website. Especially, since public teachers are not able to pass the OTET, problems arise in their increment, promotion, etc.

Therefore, teachers were given the opportunity to apply for Paper-1 and Paper-2 exams as per their wishes.

Both the papers to be held on July 20 will be conducted with 150 marks each.

The pass mark for general category teachers is 90. The pass mark for the rest of the ST, AAC, OBC, and physically challenged is 75.

It has been informed that the admit card will be available on the Secondary Education Council website WWW.bseodisha.ac.in on July 12th.
