Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Dhenkanal today, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 4 pm. During his visit to Dhenkanal, he will attend a huge gathering at the local Mahishapat Pallishree Mela grounds. On this occasion, he will make an announcement about the Dhenkanal Medical College and will also announce the Rs 171 crore sanctioned for the development of the world-famous Mahamigadi, the seat of Mahamigadhi.
Similarly, he will lay the foundation stone of a sports complex near Banamali Prasad in Ward 9 of Puranchal and a new company named Inox Wind near Chatia Gram. Apart from this, BJP Midi Media Cell in-charge Nabakishore Guru, who is planning to launch various projects, has received information from Guru. A preparatory meeting was held in Dhenkanal on Monday in the presence of Parjang MLA Bibhuti Bhushan Pradhan, Kamakhyanagar MLA Hazarghan Jena, and Hindola MLA Seemarani Nayak, under the chairmanship of the State Food Supply, Consumer Welfare, Science and Technology Minister Krishna Chandra Patra, ahead of the Chief Minister's visit.
On Tuesday morning, Minister Krishna Chandra Patra, along with party workers, visited the Publicity Mela Ground to inspect the preparations for the rally. It is learnt that the District Magistrate and SP Pallisree Mela Ground visited the meeting in the afternoon to inspect the preparations and security arrangements for the rally.
