Mega Health Camp in Sundargarh, more than 200 beneficiaries benefited

 Bhubaneswar: A mega health camp was organized at Munderkhet Gram Panchayat Office in Hemgir Block of Sundargarh District. More than 200 beneficiaries were benefited in this camp. This initiative was taken as part of the continuous efforts by Vedanta to strengthen healthcare services for the rural community by covering Munderkhet, Jharpalam, Rokhamjore and nearby Gram Panchayats. The camp was inaugurated by Hemgir Assistant Executive Engineer Shri Chinmay Kumar Mishra in the presence of Munderkhet Panchayat Sarpanch Sanyasi Bagh.

The initiative provided a range of free services to remote areas along with quality healthcare services. It included free medicine distribution, special consultation and check-up for orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, skin diseases, ENT, chest and tuberculosis treatment. Additionally, awareness sessions on cleanliness, nutrition and disease prevention were conducted to promote preventive healthcare and improve long-term well-being. Speaking about the company’s community-centric healthcare initiative, Sunil Gupta, COO, Vedanta Aluminium, said, “At Vedanta, we recognize the fundamental importance of ensuring quality healthcare for all.
