There is a lot of controversy between Odisha and Andhra regarding Kotia. Andhra is repeatedly trying to enter Kotia and involve people in various schemes and attract them to Andhra. However, a few days ago, the people of 4/5 villages of Kotia panchayat took refuge in Andhra and rejected some facilities provided by the Odisha government. In such a situation, the current government has formed a committee. It is hoped that this committee will work towards change. The committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari on the instructions of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The 16-member committee includes Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Department, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department, Principal Secretary Scheduled Castes and Tribes, Secretary Rural Development Department, Secretary Labour and Employment Department, Secretary Food and Supplies Department, Secretary Odia Language and Literature Culture Department, Secretary Law Department, Secretary Schools and Public Education Department, Secretary Panchayati Raj Drinking Water Department, Secretary Health and Family Welfare Department, Southern Revenue Commissioner, South Western DIAG along with Koraput District Magistrate and SP.
The committee will monitor the ongoing development work, education, health and transportation in Kotiya in the coming days. The committee will work on the Odia language crisis in Kotiya. Children in Odisha will study Odia instead of Telugu. On which the committee will work. The state government has taken special steps for the development of Kotiya. When will this committee visit Kotiya by the state government? And what steps will be taken to attract people to Odisha with the development of Kotiya? Now we are waiting.
