Puri: Today, on the occasion of the holy Shrikshetra Bhanuri, the Chak Akh Dera Nitee has been completed at the Rath Khala. After the morning incense Nitee, the Ghazal Maal Bije was held from the temple. The Bhoi Sevak performed the Akh Dera Nitee on two of the three chariots.
While the construction of the chariots was continuing in an orderly manner on the main road, the Bhoi Sevak threw the first Haribol as per tradition. Another phase of the construction of the chariots as per tradition and custom on the occasion of the Shrikshetra Bhanuri Yatra has been completed today. The auspicious day of the construction of the chariot was on the holy Akshaya Vati. The Chak Akh Dera Nitee was performed today. After the morning incense Nitee, the Pujapanda Sevak carried the Ghatal Maal Bije to the Rath Khala in the Patwar with bells, umbrellas, and a bije kahali. After the Ghatal Maal reached the Rath Khala, the Bhoi Sevak performed the Akh Dera Nitee on two of the three chariots, one at a time. First the Talasdhwaj, then the Nandighosha and finally the Nahaka Chak of the Devdalan Rath were installed. After this, the order brought by the Puja Panda was carried out by placing the garland on the Rath Chak and executing the policy. The Chief Administrator of the Shrimandir, Dr. Arvind Padhi, said that the construction of the Rath is continuing with discipline.
