Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed grief over the incident and announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh.

Odisha govt to offer free UPSC coaching: The application process for free UPSC coaching by the state government has started. The application process will continue from today (June 3) till the 12th. All applications will be made online. Admit cards can be downloaded from the website on July 1. The exam for free UPSC coaching will be held on July 6.


Deogarh gets projects worth ₹205 crore: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi today visited Deogarh district and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 15 different welfare projects worth about Rs 205 crore. Along with this, a newly built 300-bed hospital for Deogarh district was also inaugurated today by the Chief Minister.

Man Kills Wife Over Egg Curry: On Tuesday, a husband allegedly killed his wife in Bandhsahi village under Udla police limits of Mayurbhanj district for not cooking egg curry for lunch. The accused has been identified as Lama Baske.
