Those who have an active UAN and are linked to Aadhaar, PAN and bank details can easily check their EPF balance. For this, you have to send a message to 7738299899 from your mobile. This service is provided in a total of 10 languages including English, Hindi. In this, you have to give a code for the language of your choice. For Hindi, you can write HIN.

For the missed call service, the UAN must be active and the KYC must be updated. Then you can give a missed call to 011-22901406 from your registered number. The call will be disconnected automatically after two rings. You can know about your PF balance through an SMS. EPFO has also made the process of updating the profile easier. Members whose Universal Account Number (UAN) is linked to Aadhaar can update their personal details like name, date of birth and nationality online. Earlier, employer approval was required for these updates.

You can now easily transfer your account. For this, you have to visit the EPFO website. From January 15, 2025, employer approval is not required in most cases. Which will speed up the process of transferring PF money to a new account. Users have been demanding this change for a long time.

The introduction of Central Pension Payment System (CPPS) is another major change. CPPS facilitates pension payment directly to bank accounts through the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) platform. Earlier, Pension Payment Order (PPO) had to be transferred between regional offices for pension payment. This process often caused delays. With the new system, this delay has also been eliminated. Due to which payments can be made on time.
