H1. Bhubaneswar to get NIA branch soon: A branch of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will be set up in Odisha soon. The state government's home department has issued a notification in this regard. According to reports, the NIA branch will initially work in VSS town in Bhubaneswar. An SP equivalent officer will be appointed as the head of the branch.

H2. Two Engineers go missing while bathing: Two engineers went missing while bathing in the Katyadi river in Cuttack this afternoon. According to reports, four youths were bathing near Sector-11 in the CDA area. One of them lost his balance and fell into deep water. Another youth jumped into the water while trying to save him but was also swept away by the strong current.

Train to run from Nayagarh to Boudh soon: In a district-level review meeting held at the District Collector's office on Sunday, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has urged for accelerated efforts for the development of Boudh. Official sources have informed that a train will run from Nayagarh to Boudh on the Khordha-Balangir railway line.

IB questions Odisha YouTuber Priyanka Senapati: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) with the help of Puri police today questioned local YouTuber Priyanka Senapati about her links with Jyoti Malhotra from Haryana, who was arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan. According to reports, Priyanka came in contact with Jyoti through YouTube, after which the two became friends.


H5. Fire in Gulzar Houz: A massive fire broke out in Gulzar House near Charminar in Hyderabad on Sunday (May 18) morning, killing 17 people. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed grief over the incident and directed senior officials to take all necessary steps to rescue those trapped in the building.
